The Normandy Beaches made famous during World War 2 is a day trip from Paris. We went there on our trip 3 years ago to show my daughter. I had been there previously.
There is a museum steps away from the beaches. It was a touching and very informative. On the beach there are monuments that historic time in world history.
From there we went to the American Cemetery which was somewhat of a drive. Very beautiful and touching. From there we went to a small seaside village near Deauville for dinner. Deauville is the playground of the wealthy Parisians. The town we ate in is Trouville. From there we went back to Paris.
