Tips for Taking Photos on Your Vacation

Having memories from one’s vacation is very important. When taking photos on my vacation I usually take them with my iPhone. I have the iPhone 15 pro max.  I will create an album for the trip in the photos app on the phone or use another app called Adobe Lightroom. What I like about Adobe Lightroom is the ability to create a folder with different albums in it. For example, on the cruise I took this summer from Athens, I had a folder called Celebrity Infinity 2024. This cruise was to the Greek Islands and Turkey. I had an album for each stop we made.

I would take photos in each port and then move the photos from that port into the album. This way you keep the photos well organized. With Adobe Lightroom one has a very powerful tool to edit the photos and make them stand out. It is also a nice way to keep them safe as they get backed up in the cloud. I have the sync button always turned on. One travels a long distance many times and losing them would be a tragedy.

Always make sure that your smart phone is always fully charged before heading out for the day. I also take an external power supply and make sure that is fully charged. If I take a lot of pictures on an excursion and the battery gets low, I have the power supply to charge my phone. This way I make sure that the phone never dies. It would be unfortunate not to be able to take any more photos the rest of the day because your phone died.

The photo above is from Kusadasi in Turkey. This was one of the highlights of the trip for me. It was a site I wanted to see for many years. It did not disappoint. This photo was of the library.
