This week I returned from a cruise on the Norwegian Joy from Quebec City to New York City for the annual Avoya Conference. I spent one night in Quebec at Le Chateau Fronentac. It was a great place to stay and right in the old city. I spent the day walking around and had lunch in the old city. I ate dinner at Le Sam in the hotel with some colleagues. Our first stop was Sagueny, Quebec and there I went to New France on an excursion. Unfortunately it rained the entire time. However, I am glad I went. Then we went to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and took a walking tour of the town. Here we had a lovely day. Then off to Sydney, Cape Breton Island where I did a walking tour as well. The last stop was Halifax where I stayed on the ship as I have been there multiple times.
The conference was great. Got to meet some reps and had dinner with a couple of them. Our general sessions were great as we got some great information with updates to help us when working with clients. We learned about many of the products/companies we work with. We had roundtables which were great.
The Norwegian Joy went through a refurbishment earlier this year and looked great. They have 3 main dining rooms and several specialty dining rooms. With the main dining rooms it is open sitting so, you go when you want for dinner. Never had to wait for a table. They had shows in the theater as well as a comedy show. For those that want to workout there is a gym and a walking track up on the top deck. There is also a spa for those that want treatments.
Norwegian offers cruises to many destinations. Whether you are looking for a cruise to Canada New England, Bermuda, Caribbean, the Med, Northern Europe or Alaska they have something for everyone.
Please feel free to contact me, Danny to discuss your next cruise vacation.
Warm regards,
Danny
