Even though our name is Danny’s Luxury Cruise Vacations, we are more than cruises. We offer land based tours and All Inclusive Resorts. June 24-28, 2024 I attended a land conference at SANDALS ROYAL BAHAMIAN. It was truly an amazing experience. Learning is something I feel one should try and do every day even if it is just one thing that can make you better. At this event I met with suppliers and learned about their products. I also did some networking with my colleagues.
I had the opportunity to experience several dining options including the Steak House and the French Restaurant. I would have liked to experience the Italian restaurant as well as the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately there was not enough days. We did get to experience a party on their private island the last night and had dinner right on the beach. The private island is absolutely lovely.
I meet with companies such as Globus Family of Brands that offers escorted tours. They offer a 4-5 star product. Whether you are looking for a European Tour or in the United States they have something for you. I also met with Avanti and Europe Express which also do packages. Some of the suppliers I met with do pre and post packages for the cruise traveler.
As for the property, Sandals is an adults and couples only resort. They have different types of rooms from Ocean Front to Ocean View which is what I had. Some rooms have balconies and some do not. One can also have a swim out pool room which would be on the ground floor. There are butler suite rooms and villas. So, something for all budgets. Sandals does offer wedding packages for those that want a destination wedding. The wedding planning department works with you from start to finish to make sure hat the birds and groom have an amazing day.
If you are looking to have a bite to eat by the pool so you do not have to change out of your bathing suit there are food trucks like the one above. As for the staff and the service, they could not be nicer. I found them to be very accommodating.
Sandals also includes transfers from the airport to the resort and back to the airport at the end of your stay. My experience with this excellent. Sandals Royal Bahamian is only about 15 minutes from the airport.
Sandals is truly an all inclusive experience. There are a few extras such as a spa package, photo package or dinner on the beach. Otherwise, you will not spend anything on property.
Planning your vacation is best done months in advance. I suggest at least 6-8 months. This will be to your advantage. Getting the better price and of course availability is best done early.
